Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love fall and one of my favorite things about fall is cooking with pumpkin.  Ol’ Blue Eyes grandmother used to make these cookies for him and I was lucky enough to extract the recipe from her one day long, long ago.  So if you’d like to have your house smell wonderful and you are wanting a little something with pumpkin and cinnamon and chocolate…  well then keep reading.

Here’s what you will need:

In your mixer, combine pumpkin, sugar, oil, egg.

Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Dissolve baking soda into the milk and add to pumpkin mixture.

Now add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture.

Add vanilla.

Mix well.  Now stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips.

Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. (My oldest punk took this pic for me.)

Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
